Thank you to the SupportEd Family

T

Thank you!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We are reeling from the overwhelming spirit of joy and love that filled Touchstone Theatre on October 19th. Thanks for your patience as we take a few days to “recover.” 😀

In the meantime, to answer a few questions:

Will the show be available on the Streaming channel? Yes! We’re working on it and will have more information soon.

Who won the painting raffle? The painting raffle was won by Kathy Custer of Highlands, NJ. And in an incredible display of the kind of generosity that epitomizes the SupportEd spirit, she has given the painting to Ed and Jane. Thank you Kathy!

How much money did you raise? We’re saving the best for last here. Drum roll, please …

$26,100

An incredible result, eclipsing our goal, and far exceeding our expectations. We are truly overwhelmed at the generosity you’ve shown. Our hearts are full. Thank you.

Thank you to our storytellers: Jim Galley, Walt Unangst, and David Beedle. And to our performers: Helen Beedle; Isabelle Beedle; Jonathan, Hannah, and Chelsea Beedle. Thank you to our incredible headline act: Swearingen & Kelli. To our amazing show hosts, Sam Beedle and Jonathan Beedle, we love you!

Thanks also to the incredible Touchstone Theatre for your overwhelming generosity … to the entire staff, including Lisa Jordan, Jp Jordan, Sam Beedle (again!) — and a special shout out to Matt Prideaux and Amber Charest (and you too, Bob Walsh) for your invaluable gift of time and expertise on the day of the show.

To Lynn Beedle and his now-legendary painting “House of Steel,” which brought in an incredible $2000 of donations — you’ve outdone yourself.

To the staff of the “Sisters-In-Law Café” — Sandy Beedle, Karen Beedle, and Laura Beedle, along with all these other Beedle Family members: Hannah, Chelsea, Phoenix, and of course, August.

Thanks to Max Beedle for the invaluable behind-the-scenes assistance through the days and weeks building up to this wonderful event.

Thanks to Ambient Light — Kevin Reilly, Stu Leavitt, and David Leavitt — for streaming and video production expertise, and for the amazing video and photographs you all will have a chance to enjoy in the coming weeks.

To all of the unnamed, unsung heroes who made this show happen … Thank you.

To the SupportEd Family … we are still stunned by the generosity of all who attended and those who couldn’t come, but donated. We are forever grateful.

And finally, to Ed and Jane, for your drive, determination, and incredible optimism in your battle against this devastating injury — you are an inspiration. We love you!

Oh, hey. One more question:

Will there be another SupportEd event? Absolutely. The SupportEd mission is to bring people together and raise money through the generous, magical gift of creativity. It will continue.

Thank you once again, and stay tuned!
